Relaxing, almost flat walk on the Place Moulin dam in Bionaz which, especially on weekends, can become very crowded precisely because it presents no difficulty and is often chosen by families with children.
Also walkable with a stroller, it is just over 4 km long and at the finish you can enjoy a nice sandwich with cold cuts and fontina cheese from Valle d’Aosta at the Prarayer refuge!

Course description
This large artificial lake has a capacity of 105 million m³ and stretches 4.5 km in length from Place Moulin to Prarayer. You park your car at the dam in the parking lots provided and walk on the mule track that runs along the lake.
It is an almost flat walk, also walkable with a stroller, a little less than 5 km long that skirts the lake and crosses streams, small waterfalls and red rocks (because they are colored by iron oxide), finally arriving at the Prarayer alpine pasture and the refuge of the same name. The time to get there is about an hour.
You return by retracing the same path.
