Prato Nevoso Village, the child-friendly amusement park

ADV

Table of Contents

The Prato Nevoso Village is a snow park located in the sunny valley basin of Prato Nevoso, which caters for children aged between 1 and 14 years.

Located at the foot of the ski lifts, the Prato Nevoso Village is a fun park where children play and parents can relax or sunbathe on deck chairs.

Let’s see in detail what Prato Nevoso Village offers.

What you will find at Prato Nevoso Village

Among the various activities, Prato Nevoso Village offers inflatables, aplay area, snow tubing, mini snowmobiles, andentertainment with the park mascot, Asso.

Inflatables and play area

There are 6 or 7 inflatables in total, some of which are aimed at 1-6 year olds, and others at 7-14 year olds.

The play area features a beautiful wooden structure with slides and suspension bridges, and the merry-go-round with doughnuts, certainly the park’s most popular attraction.

This is a merry-go-round that goes round and round, dragging four doughnuts over the snow, inside of which children sit.

The game is suitable for children up to 6 years of age.

Snowtubing

Part of the Prato Nevoso Village is used for snowtubing , i.e. downhill with rubber dinghies.

There are several ‘slopes’ with different degrees of difficulty but all suitable for children.

You get to the top of the slope with a covered treadmill and then you go down with the rubber dinghy.

Snow tubing is not included in the park entrance fee and costs:

  • 1 descent € 3.00
  • 4 runs € 10.00
  • 10 runs € 20.00
  • 25 rides € 40.00

Children under six years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

The wolf cub Asso, the park mascot

The mascot, Asso, makes his appearance every day at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. with lots of singing and dancing that involves even the youngest children.

During the show, parents can relax for half an hour, but always have the children in sight.

Prato Nevoso Village: toboggan runs

I recommend bringing a sledge or a bobsleigh with you because, adjacent to the snowtubing slopes, there is a gently sloping area where children can launch themselves freely.

Other attractions

For children up to 14 years of age, there is Ace’s little train, which departs every weekend and, during the busiest periods, every day at 11-12-13-14-13.30-16.30.

The little train also has a separate charge of €6.00.

Deck chairs and sun loungers can be rented at a cost of €4.00 and €8.00 respectively.

For a snack, there is the Chioschetto di Asso, otherwise there is a slightly better stocked bar a few steps from the entrance to Prato Nevoso Village.

Prices and times

The entrance fee is € 15.00 (accompanying person enters free of charge).

Any other adults may enter the park at a cost of €5.00 each.

The ticket is valid for the entire opening hours, which are 10:00 – 17:00.

There is an afternoon ticket, valid from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at a cost of €8.00.

There are also promotional days, during low attendance periods, when entry to the park costs €12.00.

Check the dates on the official website.

Timetable during the Christmas holidays

During the Christmas holidays, Prato Nevoso Village is open every day from 10am to 6pm and every evening with night snowtubing from 8pm to 10pm.

Conclusions

We spent a couple of hours at Prato Nevoso Village and had a great time.

If, like us, you have children who are still young or not very enterprising, we recommend buying the afternoon ticket because it costs a bit less and a couple of hours can be enough to have fun without getting bored.
